Safety and Medicine for Diver
It is of primary importance to uphold value and observe safety at all times when venturing scuba diving. Not only does this activity entail risks, challenges and obstacles along the way to oneself, scuba diving can also even harm or risk the people around. No one can afford to risk a life or two when doing something that is supposed to be fun and makes one free from worries. It is only proper that safety is being given much emphasis during trainings, especially for beginners. This should be of utmost consideration when deciding to scuba dive.

Medicine Guide for Scuba Divers
Diving safety includes the proper use of various diving equipment, boat safety and practice. There are several diving training courses being offered, but the training should stress out more on the part of safety for the entire course, in preparation for what may happen.
A diver must importantly be very knowledgeable and skilled once he already goes into the water. The best thing is also to have strategies or actions for prevention of hazards and incidents rather than come up with how to resolve these. It is important to observe safety procedures and policies that you know.
In case a bad thing happens along the way, you are already expected to know what should be done. The training prior to being a certified diver includes training on safety and medicine. You can also contact a physician to help out whenever the worse comes to worst. Along the way, you may possibly meet some problems – problems caused by gases and pressure, marine and travel hazards, diver fitness, and many more. It is best to be ready to these and to know what to do in these occurrences at all times.
Some common diving-related illnesses include decompression illness and arterial gas embolism. Dysbaric osteonecrosis, decompression sickness, oxygen toxicity, CO2 retention, nitrogen narcosis and a lot more are also possible physiological problems you will meet when underwater.
