Employment and Recruitment
Whether scuba diving is a hobby or passion, it is one extreme sport that needs intensive training and experiences before one can actually be a part of professional diving organizations-much more for those who want to venture into giving scuba diving lessons and instruction services.

After accomplishing the checklist of skills needed by a scuba diver in the Open Water course, divers can proceed to take advanced Open water courses or even become professional divers. Having advanced certification courses in scuba diving provide a lucrative job opportunity for instructors in resorts or in diving sites. However, for those who want to be professional scuba diver instructors, there are certain requirements that should be met. Some of the requirements include skills, experiences, trainings, and certification. Fortunately, there are certain organizations that offer leadership training and certification. There are two of most popular scuba diving certifications worldwide. The PADI Scuba Diver certification is generally a lighter course ideal for vacationers wanting to take a few dives. However, the NAUI program is ideal for a beginner seriously taking scuba diving as a recreational sport. Some certifications in the NAUI program include Open Water Scuba Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Gold Master Diver, Scuba Rescue Diver, and Advanced Scuba Rescue Diver.

With the scuba diving industry becoming a multi-billion dollar empire worldwide and the increase demand in tropical tourist visits, venturing into scuba diving may not only be a worthwhile experience to wonder at the breathtaking scenes underwater, but also an experience to gain a fulfilling work.
