Cave Diving
Another activity that branched out from scuba diving is cave diving. Cave diving is considered to be technical diving as it already utilizes specialized SCUBA equipment. The said equipment allows exploring both natural and artificial caves which may be filled at least partially with water. However, cave diving is less popular because it is known to be risky and it requires more skills and equipment.

Nevertheless, these caves are still great attractions because of their mysterious and less, or even never, explored nature. Thus, the caves make it more challenging for divers. In these caves, there are often many types of flora and fauna that are not commonly found that make it more interesting for divers.
It is important to undergo cave diving training. The training includes modules on safety, communication techniques, gas management protocols, propulsion techniques and strategies, equipment selection and configuration, and most especially, cave conservation ethics.
