Due to these alarming effects different programs and form of agriculture are applied to restore the damaged marine world like mangroves reforestation to retain the habitat for fish.

Gladly, concern and expert scuba divers joined in the worldwide protection and preservation of the marine life. Some of these worthwhile activities include: building of artificial reefs, cleaning of the underwater grounds and shorelines. Marine clean up drives are practised worldwide annually and participated by volunteer scuba divers to promote environmental awareness. With these efforts pollution is lessen and people are informed on the importance of sea water and the creatures underwater.
